About us

VidFrom is a free online tool for saving videos from TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Douyin and Pinterest. Paste a link, pick a format, and the file downloads straight to your device — no app to install, no account to create.

We built it because saving a video you like shouldn't require installing yet another app, sitting through five redirects, or handing over an email address just to click a download button. That's the whole idea, and we intend to keep it that simple.

What we believe in

• No forced accounts. Every tool on VidFrom works from a public link alone — we never ask for your TikTok, Instagram or Google login.
• No bloat. The site runs on plain HTML and CSS rather than a heavy JavaScript framework, so pages load fast even on a slow connection.
• Original quality. Files are saved at the quality the source platform provides — nothing is artificially compressed to save server costs.

Who's behind it

VidFrom is run by a small team focused on one thing: keeping a handful of downloader tools fast, clean and free to use. We don't host or store the videos people download — every file is fetched on demand directly from the platform it was posted on.
