SoundCloud downloader: save tracks as MP3

SoundCloud is full of remixes, DJ sets and independent releases that never make it onto Spotify or Apple Music — and while some artists enable SoundCloud's own download button, most don't. Paste a track link in the box above and VidFrom pulls the audio directly, no download permission from the uploader required, since this reads the same public stream your browser already plays when you hit play on the page.

Step 1: Copy the track link

On the track's SoundCloud page, copy the URL from the address bar, or tap Share on mobile and choose Copy Link. Short links from the SoundCloud app (starting with on.soundcloud.com) work here too.

Step 2: Paste and download

Paste the link, press Download, and the MP3 downloads straight to your device once processing finishes — usually within a few seconds for a typical track.

What you need to paste

This tool needs a link to one specific track, not a profile, playlist, or set page. If you paste a profile link by mistake, you'll get a clear message asking for the individual track link instead — open the track itself first, then copy from there.

Audio quality

The MP3 comes from SoundCloud's own streaming audio, the same quality tier you'd hear playing the track directly on the site. It isn't upscaled or artificially improved — a track SoundCloud streams at a lower bitrate downloads at that same bitrate, since there's no way to add detail beyond what the source actually has.

Reposts and private tracks

Only tracks that are genuinely public work — private uploads, tracks limited to followers only, and anything the artist has set to unavailable in your region can't be fetched, the same restriction that would apply if you tried to play them directly. A reposted track downloads the same as the original, since a repost just points to the same underlying audio.

Copyright and fair use

A huge amount of SoundCloud content is uploaded by independent artists who rely on streams and follows for income, so downloaded tracks are best kept for personal listening rather than redistributed. If you want to support an artist whose track you've saved, following them or streaming on the platform directly still counts, even after you've downloaded a copy for offline listening.

No account required

You don't need a SoundCloud account, and VidFrom never asks for one — the tool only reads the public track link you provide, the same information anyone browsing the page without logging in would already be able to access.

Saving multiple tracks from an album or playlist

Each track needs its own link — there is no way to download a whole playlist in one click, since each track lives at its own URL. For an album, that usually means opening each track individually and repeating the copy-paste-download step, which for a handful of tracks takes a couple of minutes total.

That said, downloading one favorite track at a time is still far faster than any workaround involving screen-recording audio playback, which degrades quality and captures background noise from your own device.
